We are selling our Milwaukee duplex. When we moved to Milwaukee four years ago to be closer to family, we found the Riverwest neighborhood and called it home.
Since then, Khurram and I have launched and built our recruiting agency and grown our legal media platforms.
During our time living in our duplex, we helped clean up Holton Street with 100 weeks of picking up trash in "Holton Street Cleanup." We picked up trash solo and organized community pickups. We rented out the lower unit to wonderful longterm tenants and rented out the second bedroom in our apartment to people exploring Milwaukee.
This brought us lasting friendships and also gave us runway to build our businesses. This is also the house where we started our family and began raising our son.
Since moving from the duplex, we have rented both units as short and mid-term rentals. We've hosted people visiting Milwaukee for fun, work, seeing friends and family, and supporting people who are in the process of moving to Milwaukee.
We are selling our duplex to focus on growing our recruiting agency, growing our family, and health goals. The sale of this property will free up space to focus on my core priorities.
This duplex gave us so much: community connections, business runway, lasting friendships, and the home where we started our family. Sometimes letting go of something good makes room for what's next.
I'm excited to see what comes out of this newly found space.
